Knowledge Vault : Notes is designed to work fully offline. We do not collect, upload, sell, rent, or share your personal data. Your notes and app data stay locally on your device.
Information we collect
We do not collect personal information, usage analytics, advertising identifiers, location data, contacts, or the content you create in the app. You do not need to create an account or provide an email address to use the app.
Local data storage
Your notes, ideas, quotes, categories, collections, tags, favorites, pinned items, archived entries, colors, and preferences are stored locally on your device using Hive storage. This information is not transmitted to our servers or any cloud service.
Permissions
Knowledge Vault : Notes does not request unnecessary permissions. If a future feature requires a device permission, the app will clearly ask for your consent before using it. You may deny or revoke permissions through your device settings.
Internet and third-party services
The core app does not require an internet connection. We do not use third-party advertising, analytics, tracking, or cloud-storage services in the app.
Data security and deletion
Because your data is stored on your device, you control it. You can delete individual notes within the app. Uninstalling the app may permanently remove all locally stored app data, subject to your device's operating-system backup behavior. Please keep any important backup you require.
Children's privacy
We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. The app contains no account system, tracking, or data collection.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to the app or applicable requirements. The latest version will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
