About the app
Knowledge Vault : Notes is an offline knowledge-management application that lets you create and organize notes, ideas, quotes, tags, categories, collections, favorites, pinned items, and archives.
License to use
We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the app for lawful personal purposes. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer, or attempt to extract the app's source code except where applicable law expressly permits it.
Your content and responsibilities
You retain ownership of the content you create. Because the app stores content locally, you are responsible for maintaining your device, protecting access to it, and keeping any backup you need. You agree not to use the app for unlawful or harmful purposes.
Offline storage and data loss
The app stores data locally on your device. Device loss, damage, reset, app deletion, operating-system action, or uninstalling the app may cause permanent data loss. We are not responsible for lost content. You should independently preserve any information that is critical to you.
Availability and updates
We may update, improve, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the app at any time. We do not guarantee that the app will always be available, error-free, or compatible with every device or operating-system version.
Disclaimer
The app is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the app will meet every requirement or that locally stored data can always be recovered.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Knowledge Vault : Notes and its developer will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, arising from your use of or inability to use the app.
Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms when the app or applicable requirements change. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms. The current version will be available on this page.
